Practice Session

If you’ve never used our space before, we offer a free, complimentary practice session for any photographer wanting to scope out the indoor or outdoor space. During your 30 minute session, you are welcome to take test shots and experiment with the various in-studio lighting options before the big day of your shoot. We can even provide a subject for you to photograph and assist with operating all lighting equipment.

*MUST purchase one photography session in order to qualify.

Mini Sessions

Mini sessions are a great way to grow your client base — but committing to a large upfront cost before a single client has signed up is a risk you shouldn't have to take. That's why our mini session pricing is designed to give photographers the flexibility they need. Reserve a full 4-hour block of time with a $50 deposit, then pay just $20 for each mini session you fill. Choose from any of our indoor or outdoor setups. Reach out to us with your preferred date and start time, and we'll get you on the calendar!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We’re located at W4370 Old B Rd in Rio, Wisconsin. Just 45 minutes north of Madison.

  • Same as you would for booking the studio space. Just select the number of hours you would like to reserve for your shoot and then be sure to let us know in the description box provided that you’ll be shooting outdoors.

  • If your shoot takes longer than expected, check with a staff member to see if your reservation can be extended. You will be charged $1 for each additional minute — so if you need 30 more minutes, the additional cost would be $30.

  • Yes, if there a specific “scene” from our gallery page that you would like to use for your photoshoot, let us know and we will have that set up for you in advance.

    *Limit of 2 scenes per project.

  • We have two large south-facing windows that provide lots of natural sunlight throughout the day. We recommend shooting in the morning or evening for the softest light, and mid-day for the strongest, most direct sunlight. We also have studio lights for additional light if desired.

  • Our studio was designed for video production so we have acoustically treated ceilings and moveable sound curtains for superior sound quality. We also have a lighting grid for hanging light fixtures, four space lights, and one softbox to light your subject.

    We also have an HVAC unit to heat or cool the space to fit your needs. A private bathroom/dressing room. A hair and make-up station along with a wardrobe rack. Free wifi and plenty of parking.

  • Yes, we love hosting educational events. If you’re interested in offering a class or workshop, contact us with the details and we’ll make it happen!

Studio Rental Agreement
