In 2015, while living in upstate New York and immersed in the home birth community myself, I partnered with my midwife to create a series of educational, documentary style videos for her practice. The project blends intimate storytelling with documentary-style interviews, amplifying the voices of families who chose to birth at home. This work remains especially meaningful to me, as it was rooted not only in filmmaking, but in community, advocacy, and personal conviction.
